Member Oath

May 2013

"I, __________________, as a member of the Arizona State Militia, do solemnly swear to protect, defend, and promote the Constitution of the state of Arizona and the Constitution of the United States of America from all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the lawful orders of the Governor of Arizona and the officers appointed over me, in accordance with regulations, statutes, and the Constitutions I protect.  I pledge never to betray my unit’s principles, members, tactics, or trust. So help me God.”

Code of Conduct
May 2013

I am an American serving with the unorganized citizens militia which guards my state, our constitution and our way of life.  I am prepared to give my life in their defense.

I will never surrender of my own free will.  If in command I will never surrender my command while they still have the means to resist.

If I am captured I will continue to resist by all means possible.  I will make every effort to escape and aid others to escape.  I will accept neither parole or special favors from the enemy. If I become a prisoner of war I will keep faith with my fellow prisoners.  I will give no information or take part in any action which might be harmful to my comrades.  If I am senior I will take command; if not I will obey the lawful orders of those appointed over me and will back them in every way.

When questioned as a prisoner of war I am bound only to give my name, rank, and date of birth.  I will evade answering further questions to the utmost of my ability.  I will not make any oral or written statements disloyal to my beloved state and its citizens, or harmful to their continued struggle for liberty and freedom as prescribed in the constitutions of Arizona and the United States.

In all cases I will endeavor to inform and educate citizens of Arizona of the principles, values, and rights protected by the Constitutions.  I will seek to recruit skilled, educated, and professional citizens into my unit.

I will never forget that I am an American, a citizen of the greatest nation on earth.  I am fighting for freedom, responsible for my actions, and dedicated to the principles which made my county free.  I will place my trust in Almighty God, Arizona, and the United States of America and the goodness of her people

10 Orders We Will Not Obey or Enforce
May 2013

1. We will NOT obey any order to disarm the American people.

2. We will NOT obey any order to conduct warrant-less searches of the American people, their homes, vehicles, papers, or effects — such as warrant-less house-to house searches for weapons or persons.

3. We will NOT obey any order to detain American citizens as “unlawful enemy combatants” or to subject them to trial by military tribunal.

4. We will NOT obey orders to impose martial law or a “state of emergency” within Arizona, or to enter with force into a neighboring state, without the express consent and invitation of the state’s legislature and/or governor.

5. We will NOT obey orders to invade and subjugate any state that asserts its sovereignty and declares the national government to be in violation of the compact by which that state entered the Union.  Nor will we allow the invasion or subjugation of the state of Arizona.

6. We will NOT obey any order to blockade American cities, thus turning them into giant concentration camps.

7. We will NOT obey any order to force American citizens into any form of detention camps under any pretext (including, but not limited to: war, insurrection, famine, disease, etc)

8. We will NOT obey orders to assist or support the use of any foreign troops on U.S. soil against the American people to “keep the peace” or to “maintain control” during any emergency, or under any other pretext. We will consider such use of foreign troops against our people to be an invasion and an act of war.

9. We will NOT obey any orders to confiscate the property of the American people, including food and other essential supplies, under any emergency pretext whatsoever.

10. We will NOT obey any orders which infringe on the right of the people to free speech, to peaceably assemble, and to petition their government for a redress of grievances.
