History of the Praetorian Guard and what it means to us:

The Praetorian Guard was a force of bodyguards used by Roman Emperors. The title was already used during the Roman Republic for the guards of Roman generals, at least since the rise to prominence of the Scipio family around 275 BC. The Praetorian Guard was considered an Emperor or Generals last line of defense and comprised of the mightiest of warriors the Roman legion had to offer.

Much like the Praetorian Guard that precedes us, we to are a last line of defense. Along with our nations other militia units, we serve as our nation's and constitution's last line of defense against tyrannical rule and oppression.  Such oppression, if allowed to exist and if left unchecked would bring an end to the country our founding fathers and ancestors bled to construct.

We are the Praetorian Guard of Arizona, standing fast and ready to insure our children can enjoy the life our founding fathers intended.
